I just got a new video card for my Windows XP computer for gaming. The Geforce 8400 GS.
I uninstalled/disabled/removed all nvidia drivers ( the ones already on here i bought this computer at Wall-Mart for 200 bucks) I put in the new video card in the PCI EXpress slot and plugged the monitor cable into the right slot and turn on the computer and the screen stays blank. I don't know what this is and i didn't run into this much trouble with my other pc considering that the other one didn't have another video card on it. I don't know whats up with this.

try plugging your monitor into the default monitor output on your PC.  If it works then your PC is not giving it up to the new card.   It should do the switch automatically, but maybe your  system requires that the on board be disabled in the bios.

Also in the future, for nVidia cards, you don't have to remove old drivers.  Just reinstalling a driver or a newer driver can set it up properly.

How do i disable it in the bios for it to work with the new card?

By the way. I don't know but the display adapter that came with the computer is Gefore 6100 nforce. And its on the motherboard im sure because its not in a PCI slot. I probably don't even know. But if i could get some info on how to get this working it would be great help.

I can't tell you specifically where it would be in the bios without having it in front of me.  Different Bios' can be very different from one to another.  Usually it will be in a section with "advanced" or "on board" in the title.  Again, only do this if you plug your monitor into the on board video and it works.

I talked to tech support and they said its not compatible. I need a x16 PCIE slot. I have a PCIE x8 on this computer.

Ah, somehow I misread and thought for some reason you bought this within the last 2 years.  Hopefully you can take that card back.

You can only use 2 cards in an nVidia SLi enabled motherboard that has 2 slots.  I think the cards have to be the same and also SLi capable, and you would need the small SLi board that hooks the 2 cards together.

...so basically...no.
