Yep, but it still a ton like BF1942.  You capture points to win the game by the other team running out of tickets first.  You can only spawn at bases your team has captured, that kind of thing.  The big Team based thing they added was that anyone can make a squad and there are up to around 10 squads per team I think.  then that person becomes the squad leader and he become a spawn point for anyone in his squad.  and he can have up to 6 squad members I think.  So it very cool.  Also this one takes place in Modern times and is mostly set in like the middle east but theres a lot of stages that are elsewhere.  The graphics are also way way way better and its a bit more fast pace in some aspects.  Like modern Jets and stuff like that.  But if you know the look and feel of BF1942, you'll know this game as well.

One little trick is that if your squad leader dies, you quickly promote someone else to squad leader so you don't lose your mobile spawn point.

Very True.  I like to be the Medic that follows the Squad Leader around.  He goes down, He's back up, He goes down, He's back up.  That sort of game.

Now I'm really Jones'n for it.  I might have to reinstal it on my comp.  But I'd much rather play at LL.

Oh wow, I was awesome at BF1942. I always thought that game was too easy, against the bots, anyway. Wink Never could get it to the internet, on account of my slow computer. This sounds pretty neat. So theres a medic, and a squad comander. What other classes are there? Are they the same as in BF1942? Now, what were you saying about bringing the squad camander back to life? You saying he can rez people? Shocked

When you die, you can spawn on your squad leader instead of one of the spawn points.  If the squad leader dies, you promote someone else in your squad to squad leader, and then the dead ex-leader can spawn on the new leader.

Ok, I know that, but did they increase the usefulness of the medic to include bringing people back from the dead?

Yes.  You get "shock Paddles"  to bring someone back from the dead within like 15 sec.  Its very useful.  Also the medic no only heals but he can drop up to 3 health packs on the ground, which if stepped on will heal you to full life.  There is no Class Squad leader, you can just start a squad and others can join it, but you still have to pick to be a Sniper, Medic, Support, Anti-Tank, Special Ops, and it seems like there is one I'm forgetting.   Watch some Youtube Vids on it.

This is a good one for Air Combat.

And this is the Opening Vid but its done 100% in Game.  You can do everything that it shows.  The C4 is fun. Smiley

Man I went out and bought another copy of it and have been playing almost non-stop for the past week or so.  Another Great feature about it is it has the best Stat tracker of any FPS i've ever seen.  Not only does it keep track of lifetime Kills and deaths it keeps track of what you use the most, your acuracy with all weapons, your kills with all weapons, what you die to the most, who you've killed the most, who's killed you the most, all your vehicle stats, and all the medals you've won for doing certain things.  Like if you get 10 kills with spec ops, you get the basic spec ops medal.  If you take 1st place overall at the end of a map you get a Gold Medal, ect.    Also you Rank up and can unlock guns  I've been playing for a long time and I'm a Sergant Major I think, which is like a Mid Rank.  It takes 4 EVER to rank way up there.

Great game, Get it, Lets play.
