I just thought I'd let everyone know that about 3 weeks ago I installed a bear repellent at KNoCS, and so far we haven't had a single bear.  So I think it is working.

Um.....what exactly is "Bear Repellent"? Is it like a pic of NERO in the morning, or what? Huh

We haven't had any problems.  We just didn't want to take any more chances.

It's a small device, almost invisible.  However the salesman told me it was 99% effective.

99% effective? So...

Does it protect against all kinds of bears, or only brown or black bears. I heard that Koalas and Pandas can get very agressive during the spring..........

Almost every kind.  I guess there is a certain breed from Chicago that it doesn't work on.
