Ok, I have two questions. These two questions are completly unreleated, but I put them together because they would be pretty pathetic threads by them selves.

Q1: What happened to the Philosophy section? Did you guys just decide it wan't needed? Just asking because I seem to remember a section called that.

Q2: Whenever I am at KNOCS and happen to catch a bit of the music, I'm always like "Hmm hmm hmm...da dee da....Hey, is that "Disposable Heros", by Metallica?" Or "Wait a second, is that "Mr. Crowley"?" These are all songs that I just happen to hear while gaming, and sometimes it feels like I just have an awesome song stuck in my head, but I listen harder, and I can tell it's from the radio or somthing. So my question is: Do you guys have the radio on, or do you have a special "Gamer Music" playlist for the gamers? 'Cause this is really good music, and I just thought of these questions while I was sitting being bored in my art class. Tongue

1) Just didn't think we needed philosophy any more.  Figured general would work OK for this.
2) You have been listening to 103.9 the Bear

1) Ya, I thought that's what you did.

2) The weird thing is, Disposable Heros is a pretty old song, came out with Master of Puppets. I guess I just don't listen to the Bear enough to catch it, but I don't think I have ever heard it on the Bear. Oh well, I must just be going crazy. Roll Eyes

On Question 2.  Yeah Its an old song.  he said the Bear 103.9, playing all of todays greatest rock music and by today we mean 1999.  There stuff is getting old.  Yeah they do throw in some new stuff from time to time but I can feel the transition to Classic rock station on the rise.  Also have you ever seen that Tommy Carol guy, or however you spell his name.  he looks like a 1980's Hair Rocker.  Super long blond hair.  Granted its been a year or so but thats what he looked like back then.

The bear is just starting to be un-bear-able (couldn't help myself).  However it is still better than the alternatives.  U93 is finally playing less rap, but that is only at certain times of the day.  We definitely won't be playing country, and 101.5 would have us listening to Christmas tunes for the rest of the year.

At the second location I actually tried to run MP3's through the stereo complete with our own goofy commercials, but somehow when played over the store speakers it sounded horrible.  So I stopped it.  People wouldn't have been fully happy with it anyway.  It would have been all the music I like.

Ok. And G, he certainly does skill look like that. Only his hair is brown now. At least if it's still the guy you're talking 'bout....

But ya', a lot of the new "Rap 'n Hiphop" sucks. In my opnion, at least. Oh, wait, that's wrong. It's pretty much all bad, not just a lot of it. So, I guess I haven't been around as long as y'all old folk, so I haven't had a chance to get sick of the music they play. Oh well.
